November Learning !

We have been doing some really fun learning in November. In Maths we have been learning how to do addition and subtraction.  We have also been learning how to compare groups. We can tell you if a group has more or fewer! We’ve also been working hard on writing our number sentences.

In English we finished writing the story of The Enormous Turnip. It was really tricky, but with the help of our Fred fingers we were able to do some fantastic writing. In December we are going to be writing a letter to Santa!

We love science! We have been learning about the different animal groups. Did you know that reptiles’ have cold blood, but  mammals’ have hot blood? Human beings are mammals too!

In history we have been developing our learning around dinosaurs. We got to investigate some stinky dinosaur poo! We were able to see whether the dinosaurs were herbivore or carnivores by looking at their poo. The carnivore poo had hard chunks of spaghetti and the herbivore poo had leaves in it.

In November we also did a dinosaur quiz. We had so much fun answering the questions. Was it A B or C?

In November we also had a visit from MC Grammar and Guy Fawkes

Now we are getting ready for our Christmas performance and we are practising our songs every day. We can’t wait for our grownups to watch the show!
