1RH April learning in action

It was lovely to come back to school and see how excited everyone was to see how much our beans have grown over the holiday. We have been busy making a bean diary to observe and track how they grow over time. During our science day we have been learning about wild plants and really enjoyed going on a walk in our lovely school grounds to see what we could find!

We have also launched our new topic 'Town and Country' on our explorer day. We looked at aerial photographs of our school and loved finding different places on the map. We played the game where are you? where we had to ask questions to find out where someone was hiding, such as what can you see? are you in a big or small space? and what can you hear? We enjoyed it so much I am sure we will play it again over the next few weeks!
