Ancient Egypt

In our creative curriculum lessons we have planned and made some Shadufs. We used wooden sticks, clay, string, a stick and plastic cups to collect the water.

 “It was fun using the clay and tying the string.”

 “I really liked the making part.”

Maths

In maths we have been measuring in centimetres (cm) and metres (m) using measuring tapes, rulers and metre sticks. We have measured liquids using millilitres (ml) and litres (l) in measuring jugs. We used kilograms (kg) and grams (g) to measure weight on scales.

English

In English we have been looking at , reading and writing newspaper articles.  We have been learning how to include inverted commas and use paragraphs in our writing.
