Christmas around the world day

The country 5AS researched and discovered for our Christmas around the world day was: India. We made our own garlands, learned about all the Christmas decorations and foods they have and learned how to say Merry Christmas in Hindi and Urdu. 

Creative Curriculum - Explorer Day

 We also spent the day exploring our new topic: The Ancient Romans. We researched which countries were a part of the Roman Empire and used map work to represent this. We created our own helmets, shields and made a mosaic of our own Roman Warrior. We are super excited for our new topic!
