Full Governors Meeting July 2019

Governors have met for the final time this year. 

Mrs Nelson presented her end of year Headteacher Report.

Attendance continues to be a priority for Joseph Cash. We have signed up to 'Study bugs' to support attendance next year. Study bugs allows parents to message in when their child is ill and also advice on time needed to stay off school. Teachers are now using study bugs to register the children in the morning and pre-ordering their meal choice. 

Data is very positive throughout the school.

 Mrs Scott shared our new curriculum ready for September. Children will experience an 'explorer day' to share what knowledge and skills they already have. 

Each term there will be a new 'Hook for Learning' to engage the children and a 'flourish' event for the parents to attend.  All of these themes will be linked to the chosen English text. Staff have been very busy planning exciting lessons to ensure that all children are excited to learn and are able to transfer knowledge and skills across the curriculum.

We won the 'TES English School of the Year' Award!

We also won an award from 'Rugby Engage'

We have just been awarded 'Silver award' for games!
