Joyful July in 2ED

July has been lots of fun in 2ED. We have had our Wow week, twilight, the assaultment course, llamas, SRE, Science day, flourish plus much much more....

We have really enjoyed exploring life in 1969, on July 16th. 50 years ago, Neil Armstrong went to the moon. We have learned so much about him and his life. 

During our wow week we looked at an alternative way of exploring using a hot air balloon. We made some fantastic hot air balloons out of paper mache. 

Our twilight was great fun we stayed at school until half past 7! We loved the Campfire and singing campfire songs. 

During our Science day we explored animals that lived in micro habitats.

We made micro-habitats and placed them around the edge of the field. We went back to see if they had been used.         

SRE- We learned about the similarities and differences between boys and girls/ males and females. We also looked at how you can tell the differences when they are babies.

Thank you to all parents who came to visit us on our flourish event.  It was lovely for parents to look at the learning children have been doing in their books.   

I will miss each and everyone of you. We have had a great 2 years together.  Well done for everything you have all achieved. xx
