KS1 Pop Ins

Mrs Nelson, Mrs Scott and Mrs Littler had a lovely time on Thursday morning popping into all of the KS1 classes. We saw some wonderful learning from all the children. 

In both Year 1 and Year 2 we saw some fantastic story telling happening - using the Talk for Writing strategy. Children are currently learning a variety of Traditional tales. 

                   In 1NG pupils were retelling The Three Billy Goats Gruff    

                     And in 2HT they were retelling Little red Riding Hood. 

Story maps were displayed in classrooms to help children with there learning. 

In 1RH children weer drawing their own story maps.     

Pupils were also working very hard in Maths lessons. 

  In 2ED children were finding different ways to solve their maths problem. 

And in Year 1 they were splitting amounts into 10 and ... to compare the numbers.
