Learning in Action January

What an amazing start to the New Year; Little Ribbons have come back in to nursery happy and are super excited to learn!

Look at how much confidence we have when exploring the environment, helping us to learn lots of new things.  Our favourite part of the day is when we get to go outside.  We are beginning to think about how we can move safely and investigate the world around us.

We are working hard on our listening and especially enjoy story and song time to help encourage this.  

To support our learning about colours, we have been reading 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?'

Brown Bear saw lots of different animals and we helped him to remember what colour they were.  We tried super hard at this!  We then thought about what our favourite colour might be and if we could spot the colour in the room!

Let's get messy....

Everyone loves sensory play and we get especially excited exploring with water, sand or paint. This helps us to learn new words and communicate them in conversations with each other.
