Learning in February

In 2ED our toys topic is going really well. We have been 'innovators' and designed and made our own board games. The creations were amazing. When making them the children worked well in the groups using our growth mindset values.  We have now started to look at toys in the past. At the end of this week we have 'The Herbert Art Gallery' coming in to school to talk to us about Victorian toys and the children will be coming home with questions to ask their family about which toys they played with as a child.

In English the children have just finished our Traditional Tales topic and they wrote some fantastic hot writes which has showed how much they have learnt. We are now going onto non-fiction. Ask your child to tell you what non-fiction means.

We have been very busy in Maths. We have been learning about division facts and measuring the mass of an object.
