May has been all about learning about MAPS and developing map work skills! First we learned about 'Birds Eye View' to help us understand what maps look like. We have identified places in the school ground using maps and drawn our own maps of the classroom. We then used a key to find things on map for a treasure hunt and then designed our own key on  map. We have used Google Earth and zoomed in to look at where we live looks like from the sky we have also looked at and used a huge OS Map of Coventry and learned about how symbols are used to identify common things.
