School in a school - Learning together

The children have been so interested in being the teachers that we decided to turn our classroom into a 'school'. The children took over and they have been teaching their friends during continuous provision. 

It was so wonderful to share our phonics and guided reading learning with so many of our parents this week too! I was very impressed with how well the children were 'teaching' you how to read the sounds and words.

 We also spent the morning 'Walking the Joseph Cash Mile' around school. The children followed the instructions really well and it was super to hear them talking about signs of Spring that they observed along the way.
