Full Governors - September

Governors met for the first time this academic year. 

Governors appointed Corrine Manger as the Chair of Governors for another year and Melanie Harvey as the Vice chair. 

Mrs Nelson shared governors CPD 'Takeaway Handout' with initial go-to information for Governors to reference and add to each Governor meeting. 

Governors have been assigned new roles and areas of responsibility this academic year.

EYFS/English/SEND - Melanie and Manjit (Parent Governor) to link with AHT Mrs Nettey

KS1/ Safegaurding/ Pastoral Team - Corrine and Stepan (Parent Governor) to link with AHT Mrs Littler

LKS2/ STEM - John and David to link with AHT Mrs Smith)

KS2/ Maths/ Pupil Premium - Grace and Selina (Parent Governor) to link with AHT Mrs Healy and LP Mrs Giblin

Corrine shared the Coventry City Council's 'Committee and Working Group' and 'A model Code of Conduct' document for governors to read, understand and discuss where applicable.  What are our responsibilities  as governors?

Melanie shared  analysis of our recent Governor Skills Audit: 

Strengths: Collaboration, education and improvement and culture, values and ethos

Areas of development: Data Analysis (Why do we do it and why is it useful?)

 Mrs Nelson shared the updated and completed School Development Plan for 2018/2019
