June Learning in Little Ribbons
Week Beginning 7th June
We are learning all about sea transport this week and have a very exciting theme about Pirates to support our learning!
Our story is called Ten Little Pirates by Mike Brownlow and Simon Rickerty.
This story has helped with our number language and the key vocabulary the children will be using.

Week Beginning 14th June
We have continued our transport theme this week and have been learning about transport in the sky!
To support us our story is Maisy Goes by Plane by Lucy Cousins

The children designed and made their own paper aeroplanes and we took them outside to see how far they would fly!
We also enjoyed creating hot air balloons as a part of a special surprise for Father Day.
Week Beginning 21st June
We are learning all about transport on the ground this week and our story of focus is 'The Train Ride' by June Crebbin

The children have been engaging well with all the activities in the classroom and are showing how ready they are to be independent learners in Nursery in September.

We are learning all about different types of weather this week and how it makes us feel and what clothes we should wear.
