Nursery - December Learning in Action

We are getting better at listening for longer each day. Here are some of the stories we have enjoyed listening to in December: 

When we listened to the Very Hungry Caterpillar we tried very hard to count the different fruits that he ate. On one day the Caterpillar ate over 10 different foods, no wonder he had tummy ache! I wonder if you can remember what happens at the end of that story? What happens to the caterpillar? What is the name of the special house he builds for himself? 

Here we are doing some amazing listening!

We have also been very busy practising our songs for the Christmas Nativity,  we are trying very hard to remember the words and the actions too! 

Soon we will be learning all about how Christmas is celebrated in the UK. I wonder if we will have a special visitor to our classroom? Watch this space.....
