Nursery- November Learning in Action

Nursery have been very busy doing lots of learning!

We are settling into our daily routines and are beginning to listen carefully and follow simple instructions. 

We now do funky fingers everyday, it makes our fingers strong so we can do lots of amazing mark making and writing. 

We have been enjoying listening to lots of different stories this month: 

We are joining in with repeated refrains from stories

There's a shark in the park!

Everyone has loved our Shark in the Park story, we made our own telescopes just like Timothy Pope in the story! 

We are beginning to sit in small groups for listening activities. Nursery's favourite has been when Mrs Ward had a box full of objects, we sang the song: 

Mrs Ward has a box  ee igh ee igh ow.. and in that box she has a.........

and then listened carefully, we had to guess what was inside! There were lots of exciting things including buttons, pencils and scissors! We will continue to work on our listening skills.
