Welcome to Joseph Cash Primary School

Hello and welcome to Joseph Cash Primary School.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website.

Joseph Cash is a two form entry primary school. We are proud to welcome children from a wide range of different cultures: 70% of our children speak English as an additional language. The children at JC are caring, compassionate, wonderful individuals – I know I speak on behalf of all the staff to say it is a pleasure and a privilege to play a part in shaping their lives!

At Joseph Cash we are passionate about ensuring all pupils receive a curriculum that gives them the skills, confidence and self-belief to lead a happy and fulfilled life by encouraging them to aim high and work towards their goals and dreams in life. We are committed to helping all children achieve their best, enjoy their learning journey and become resilient individuals, who never give up and are adaptable, global citizens  of tomorrow. Our three curriculum priorities are: Aspirations, Wellbeing and Growth Mindset and Academic Success.

Our school curriculum is built upon our core values which we feel are the life-blood of the school as they feed into every aspect of school life and our wider community. We have designed and planned a curriculum to offer a range of experiences which contribute to every chid receiving a full and rich curriculum. We believe that only the best will do for our children. My staff and I are relentless in ensuring children have the curriculum and enrichment opportunities that will give them lifelong learning skills and ensure that they are able to all make progress due to quality first teaching and learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom.

At the heart of Joseph Cash, threaded throughout daily school life is our commitment and dedication to supporting the wellbeing of all pupils and staff. Our ‘Golden Wellbeing’ weeks for staff are always a highlight of every half term and our Pastoral and Thrive team are highly skilled in supporting pupil’s mental health and wellbeing. Our commitment to wellbeing is clearly evident through the culture we have developed at JC and it is something we are very proud of!

I hope you find everything you are looking for on our website. I can highly recommend looking at the ‘Class Blogs,’ ‘Children’s Newspaper’ and ‘Gallery’ to see our school in action. Our Twitter feed will give you an up to the minute view of JCP - follow us on Twitter if you don’t already!
